Jamie Moves on to the General Election in November

I am proud to announce I will be on the General Election on November 4, 2014 ballot as a candidate for Glendale City Council - Ocotillo District.

With 7 or 7 precincts reporting at about 1:26am this morning, the results are as follows:

Jamie Aldama                    406       31.42%
Norma Alvarez                  503       38.93%
Michael A. Hernandez       158       12.23%
Bud Zomok                       225       17.41%

There are still provisional ballots that have to be verified before they can be counted. There are also some late arriving early ballots turned in at the polls yesterday that have to be counted. The final tally should be done by later this week. However, I don't expect the percentages to change significantly.

Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters for putting your trust in me. There is lots to
be done between now and November 4th, and we are full steam ahead as of today.

I want to thank, and congratulate, Michael Hernandez and Bud Zomok, for running a clean race based upon issues and ideas. I look forward to working together with them on issues facing our community when I am elected to the Glendale City Council in November.

Thank you Ocotillo District Voters for your confidence in me. Let's keep that momentum going and I will be at your door in the very near future asking for your vote in November.
